The entire MGREPROG website (texts, images, graphics, logos, icons, videos, downloadable files) is protected by French and international intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation, modification or adaptation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization from MGREPROG, is strictly prohibited.

3.1 Remapping files

The mappings and remapping files provided by MGREPROG are works protected by copyright. The client benefits from a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use, strictly limited to the vehicle concerned by the order. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, reverse engineering or commercial use constitutes infringement.

MGREPROG processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Technical and security logs

To keep the website and your account secure (preventing fraud, intrusions and abuse) and to establish the facts in the event of a dispute, we automatically record: your IP address, the date and time, the page visited (without its parameters), the browser type and the result of the request; for accounts, successful and failed logins, the device used and the country derived from the IP address. This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Only MGREPROG can access it, and it is never sold or used for advertising. The website is hosted in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany) and its encrypted backups are stored in Western Europe with Cloudflare. Cloudflare, Inc., a US company that protects the website and processes your IP address to route requests, participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which governs these transfers.

Recipients

Your data is only shared with the providers needed to run the website, each for its own task:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): hosting of the website and data;
• Cloudflare, Inc.: protection and delivery of the website, encrypted storage of backups in Western Europe;
• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland): online payment; MGREPROG never receives your card details;
• Mailtrap: sending of the website emails (order confirmations, login links, security alerts);
• Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics): audience measurement, only with your consent (see the Cookies section).

Retention period

• Customer data: 5 years
• Accounting data: 10 years
• Cookies: Maximum 13 months
• Website access logs: 6 months
• Application technical log: 90 days
• Account login history and administration actions: 1 year
• Backups: automatically deleted after 30 days at most

You have the right to access, rectify, object and delete your data. You may file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority: www.cnil.fr

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies required for the site to work are always active; all others are only used with your consent, which you give or refuse in the banner shown on your first visit. Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again.

Audience measurement (with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the site is used and improve it. It is only loaded after you consent: until you accept, no request is sent to Google. If you accept, the confirmation of your order (number and amount) is also sent to Google Analytics by our server after payment; if you refuse, nothing is sent. Google may process this data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Advertising

No advertising cookie is used at present. If we launch Google Ads campaigns, this category will appear in the cookie settings panel and will only be enabled with your consent.

Browser local storage

The site stores a few display preferences in your browser (welcome window already seen, app install banner or help bubble closed) and caches its technical files (styles, scripts, images) so that it loads faster. This data contains no personal information and is not used for any tracking.

Third-party content and services

Some pages rely on external services. They do not set cookies on our site, but receive your device's IP address in order to display their content:

• Partner map: OpenStreetMap (map tiles) and the Leaflet library, served by unpkg.com;
• Gains simulator: OLSX (embedded content, which loads a font from rsms.me and a script from jsDelivr);
• Contact form: Cloudflare Turnstile, spam protection;
• Payment: Stripe, on its own payment page, which applies its own cookie policy.

Services queried by our server, without your IP address: during checkout, address suggestions come from Photon (Komoot, OpenStreetMap data), which only receives the text typed in the address field; the VIN you enter is sent to the public NHTSA database (US road safety administration) to find the vehicle's make, model, engine size, fuel type and gearbox.

MGREPROG makes every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information, without guarantee of completeness. MGREPROG declines all liability in case of technical error, fraudulent intrusion, temporary unavailability of the site or non-compliant use of the information or files provided.

7. Hyperlinks

MGREPROG is not responsible for the content of third-party sites accessible via hyperlinks. Any link creation to the MGREPROG website requires prior authorization.

8. Applicable law

These legal notices are subject to French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
